Description of the structure

Elegant apartment (85 m²), recently renovated, located in a central area of Catania at 1.3 km from the historic center, well connected by public transport to the main attractions of the city, the train station, the port and the airport (nearest bus stop 50 m away).

The apartment is located on the third floor of an elegant building with a doorman and equipped with a lift. The apartment is fully air conditioned and furnished and has 2 bedrooms (1 double room and 1 triple room with a double and a single bed), 1 bathroom complete with tub/shower and bidet, a well-equipped kitchen (hob, large fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, crockery, cutlery, etc.), a living room (with dining table, sofa and 43” TV), a laundry room equipped with washing machine and dryer (the laundry also includes a toilet) and covered balconies.

The apartment can accommodate a maximum of 5 people (including children).

Internet e TV

Wi-fi is available in the whole apartment. Full HD televisions in the living room (43”) and in 1 bedroom (32”).

Parking

Public parking: on the street, both free and paid.
Private paid parking: Autorimessa Vivante (150 m), Autorimessa Smap Car S.r.l. (300 m).

Main bus connections

(tickets can be purchased at a reseller, the nearest is at 100 m “Tabacchi 142” in Piazza Giovanni Bosco 9 or online using the MooneyGo app)

Old town (Piazza Stesicoro – several options): line 702 or 433 or 940, BRT1 only on the way back (every 8 minutes).
Train station (several options): line 433 or 431, BRT5 + BRT1 only on the way back (from train station to the apartment).
Port: line 431, 556+BRT1 only on the way back (from port to the apartment).
Airport-Apartment: Alibus + BRT1.
Apartment-Airport (different options): 940 or 702 or 433 + Alibus.

Rules

Cancellation conditions

If you selected a discounted, non-refundable rate when booking, your payment will not be refunded if you cancel your stay.

If you did not select a non-refundable rate, you can cancel your reservation without penalty up to 3 days before your arrival. Cancellations within 3 days of arrival or in the event of a no-show will be charged the full cost of the reservation.

Payment conditions

Payment details will be shared during the booking process. Payment must be made via bank transfer:

within 24 hours of booking for non-refundable rates;
at least 3 days before check-in for other rates.

NO CHARGES OR PRE-AUTHORIZATIONS WILL BE MADE ON THE CREDIT CARD REQUIRED AS A GUARANTEE DURING THE BOOKING.

Conditions for children

Children under 3 stay free (a crib is available upon request).
Children aged 4-13 pay half price; children aged 14 and over pay the full adult rate.

Conditions of stay

Check-in is from 3:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 AM.

If you require an early check-in or late check-out, please contact the host directly, who will try to accommodate your needs where possible.

Linens (sheets and towels) and final cleaning are included in the booking fee.

Linen changes and cleaning are not provided during your stay.

Smoking is not permitted inside the rooms. However, smoking is permitted on the balconies (all covered).

Additional guests are not permitted in the apartment unless expressly agreed in advance with the host.

The host will be waiting to welcome you at the agreed-upon check-in time.

Tourist tax

The tourist tax of € 3.00 per night per person is NOT included in the booking cost and must be paid in cash upon check-in.

The tourist tax applies:

up to a maximum of 4 nights
to guests over 16 years of age

Accessibility

The apartment is on the third floor of a building with a lift.
The lift is not large enough to accommodate wheelchairs.
At the entrance of the building there are 10 steps before reaching the ground floor and other 6 steps before reaching the lift.
